Still looking for a good deal on J & S, but when I do eventually get the dang thing, I still have a problem of finding someone who can install it correctly. I live in the SF Bay and all the people I've talked to don't even know what the Safeguard unit is!!!
Furthermore, suppose I get the J & S with the dual monitor, I'm still confused as to which other gauges I need to efficiently monitor my car before I increase boost. Thanks.

install it urself...couldnt be easier...just a little time consuming but splicing wires aint hard...just make sure u have a helms manual...any more questions about the install and im sure all around here will help out. and besides save the money to buy other stuff. oh and besides the dual meter i got an EGT guage and a boost guage. enough for me. dont really need the EGT guage tho but helps. i got turbo tho.

I really do appreciate your advice Seneka, but I don't know jack about wiring and electronics. I think I will get the J & S and worry about the install after 'cause I know I need it before I do anything else. By the way, although this may seeem ignorant, but what exactly is the EGT guage?
Thanks again.

Hey I live in the bay area (SJ). I just got my J&S unit in today! I will probally be installing it this weekend in my JRSC type R. The EGT gauge is the exhuast gas temp. gauge. If you have any questions let me know. Also go to www.cpcwired.com I ordered mine through them on a group buy. Took like since April to get it though.

send an email to Larry at Endyn, I think their email address is on the site, dont have it off hand. He will get you a good price, I got mine for a little less than that group buy.

a-dub, what car do you have? If you have a gsr, i can help you out when you install it. I did it myself and it was pretty easy. Just leave a message here when you need help and i'll see if i have time. I'll be busy this weekend though, gotta install my turbo.
